Presentation by Dr Hadeel Farahat

Dr Farahat is an Associate Professor in the Textile Printing, Dyeing and Finishing Department. Faculty of Applied Arts (Helwan University , Cairo, Egypt) and currently a Lecturer at the Faculty of Arts and Design , October University for Modern Science and Arts

Dr Farahat attained her PHD degree in 2008 . Her PhD thesis tile was: Psychological Aspects for designing & printing psychiatric hospitals upholstery textile

She has a diploma from Iris International School of Color Therapy anf has published several papers in the field of  color science

Several contenders participated at ITEX Design Contest – March edition which featured innovative designs in textile digital printing offered by the contest participants.

The contest was supported by different organizations including: the Egyptian Chamber of Textiles, Textile Printing Department at Faculty of Applied Arts, Fashion & Design Center, Textile Division of National Research Center, Egypt, MDT Printing Company and Khoyout Magazine.

The photograph shows top five finalists with the jury committee members during the awards ceremony which was held on 11 April, 2021 at the Egyptian Chamber of Textiles.
